(sketch) Oneliners, Thats No Joke

I like to do what I call oneliners. They are drawings where my pen doesn't leave the sketch book. I had been doing them in sketchbooks for a few years now, this is only a few from the last few months or so.

Water Gatherer
Sitting in my living room, or should ii say standing, is a bronze sculpture my dad got me from one of his trips overseas. The water buckets are separate pieces, but I'm sure they are on the right side.

They Call Him Face
While most oneliners are based on life, this one is from my imagination. It started as a mere scribble but then grew into a close up of a face. He has a sour look, possibly because he is upset at how close together his eyes are.

Vik Muniz on TED
I was watching some TED lectures to kill time before getting ready for work one day. I was watching this one

when I picked up my pen. Luckily for me Vik didn't change his possition to drastically too often so I didn't have to pause the video

The Man at the Picnic Table
I was sitting in the park at Bathurst and Dundas one day looking around for things to draw. All of a sudden a man sits down a few feet away at a nearby picnic table. He sat there just long enough for me to make this drawing.

The Girl in the Park
Again i found mtself at a park on a nice sunny day, this time in Kensington Market. Everyone was moving around having a good time, dancing, playing hackysack, or just passing through. Then I noticed this girl, sitting all alone, deep in a book. She wasn't going anywhere anytime soon so I drew her in my single lined fashion.
