(sketch) The Shape of Things

I think it was said best in the BBC show Spaced in episode 3 "Abstract Expressionism is so mid to late 80s"- Vulva.
Here in Canada it seems the art world is still back there, well maybe we have moved on to the early 90s but still, we are living in the past. As far as Art is concerned that is. To celebrate both Canada's enjoyment of abstraction, and my own displeasure with it, I have decided to categorize these drawings as abstraction.
For the most part These have come into existence from my tracing of shadows and pen bleeding through from the other side of the page. Others have been made from using the page to drain extra ink from a brush. Either way they are just shapes of negative and positive space
